A 48-year-old man died this Monday, September 30, after falling off a cliff onto the sandy beach of Praia do Canavial, in Lagos.
The alert for the occurrence was given early in the morning, at 8:26 am.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro told the Sul Informação that the victim "was of Czech nationality".
The causes of the fall are not yet known.
There were 10 operatives at the site, from the Fire Department, INEM and the Maritime Police, supported by four vehicles and a vessel.
