After Bangkok, การเจรจา CONVERSA, an adventure of cultural and aesthetic experimentation across borders, travels to Faro, to Club Farense, where it will be open from the 2nd to the 9th of October.
การเจรจา CONVERSA is an exhibition of creative, collaborative and experimental works by students and professors from the School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand, and members of the Center for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC), of the University of the Algarve.
This exhibition falls within the scope of the project's work plan Cultural Adventures – Creative Dialogues Between South East Asia & South West Europe, hosted by the CIAC.
In 2018, five creative professionals from Southeast Asia began a dialogue with five Portuguese artists. This exhibition celebrates the conceptual and (i)material discoveries emerging from this process of distal interaction.
From this exhibition, which opens in Bangkok on the 28th of September, and in Faro, on October 2, «we can expect a set of works in different supports that seek to answer the initial question of the project: how creative production in art, design and media can contribute to dialogue, interaction and exchange between geographies, stories and cultures?”
Em Faro, the exhibition will be on display at Club Farense, located on Rua de Santo António, every day between 16:00 and 18:30 and 20:30 and 22:30. The inauguration will take place on the 2nd of October at 18:00.
