The play “When she… is he” goes on stage at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão this Friday, September 20th, at 21 pm.
«The comedy, which features actors Luís de Mascarenhas, Paulo Oliveira, Tiago d'Almeida and Filipa Giovanni, tells the story of Emílio, an unacknowledged young homosexual, from Vila Nova da Ranhosa, but who lives in Lisbon for professional reasons,” says the Chamber of Olhão.
«One day, his father, a very conservative and virile northern man, decided to go to Lisbon to visit his son and finally meet his “daughter-in-law”. What Lacerda does not know, nor does he dream, is that his “daughter-in-law” is actually called Chico», he adds.
This piece marks the beginning of the 2019/2020 season of the Olhão Auditorium.
