Applications have already opened

The operational program CRESC Algarve2020 will finance 113 internships for young people, with 1 million euros, with applications to be open until 14 October.

Aimed at unemployed young people up to 30 years of age, or 35 if disabled or disabled, holders of a degree, higher professional technical courses or secondary-level technological courses, these internships «aim to increase qualification and improve the employability profile, giving response to the difficulties of insertion into professional life and supporting their transition from the education and vocational training system to the labor market», explains the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR).

The interns were distributed among the promoting entities, taking into account their availability for reception and monitoring, through an order from the tutelage, with 113 places having been allocated to local authorities and participating entities in the Algarve.

The trainee selection procedures must be completed within four months, counting from the date of publication of the opening notice, and applications from beneficiary entities must be submitted by the 14th of October.

The public funding for this call is 1.25 million euros, divided between the European Social Fund (ESF) at 80% (ie: 1 million) and the national public contribution at 20% (250 thousand euros) which will be supported by the beneficiary public entities.
