The tablet PCs and school material that the Municipality of Olhão will offer to the municipality's students will be able to be collected from the 5th, the next Thursday, and until the 11th of September.
The delivery schedule for these offers was released today by the Chamber of Olhão (see the full list below).
The big news, at the beginning of this school year, is the offer of 1300 tablets to students who will enter the 4th, 7th and 10th years, within the scope of the Caique Bom Sucesso project, which intends that, in three years, all students in Olhão, from the 4th to the 12th grade, have their own tablet, offered by the municipality.
The municipality will also offer the approximately 2000 children who will attend the 1st Cycle a kit of teaching material, "which includes, among others, notebooks, pencils, pens or colored sheets, which will be used during the school year", according to Chamber of Olhão.
The offers do not stop there and also reach the exercise books of 1500 students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of the 1st cycle.
School manuals, it is known, are offered by the Ministry of Education.
With these measures, the Municipality of Olhão intends to «continue the implementation by the Municipality of educational policy measures that promote effective equality of opportunities for access and school success».
For the survey of the different offers, it is mandatory to present the identification document of the student and the guardian.
