Culture “also has flavor” and that was precisely what the City Council of Aljezur tried to show on Saturday, at FATACIL, in Lagoa, with the initiative “Degustar Cultura”.
The event served to present the «innovative initiative» that will be available to the public, from September, at the Museum of the Sea and Land of Carrapateira, as part of the Mediterranean Diet Route.
Participants in the initiative are invited to enter “a journey where all the senses will be present”.
«Through a guided tour of this museum, visitors will get to know the experience of the community where the museum is located, collecting various ingredients from the land and sea along the way», describes the City Council of Aljezur.
At the end of the route, the ingredients collected will be used by visitors to make a cataplana with flavors of the sea and land of Carrapateira, which they will then be able to taste.
Those who want to take advantage of this experience will have to book in advance.
Aljezur will continue to be present at FATACIL, through a series of initiatives, which will take place throughout the event, organized by Terras do Infante.
