Air Force made three organ transports in the last 48 hours

Crews of the C-295M and Falcon 50 aircraft assured the missions

The Portuguese Air Force, through Squadron 504 – “Linces” and Squadron 502 – “Elephants”, was involved, on the 26th, 27th and 28th of July, in three missions to transport organs for transplantation.

The first two missions, carried out by the crews of the C-295M and Falcon 50 aircraft, took place simultaneously and began on the night of Friday, July 26, and ended at dawn on Saturday.

Seventeen hours later, the crew of the Falcon 50 aircraft was re-committed to a new organ transport.
