140 beer varieties and lots of music at the Alameda Beer Fest in Faro

29 brewers from across the country will be present

The fifth edition of the "Alameda Beer Fest - International Festival of Beers and Craft Brewers", returns to the garden of Alameda, in Faro, from the 4th to the 6th of July.

It is "an innovative and media event format", organized by the Municipality of Faro, OG & Associados and Ambifaro- Management of Municipal Equipment.

This year, the initiative will be attended by 29 brewers and visitors will be able to taste 140 varieties of craft beer.

In addition to craft beers, there will also be street food, music and artistic performances.

The festival opens its doors from 18:00 pm to 01:00 am on Thursdays and from 18:00 pm to 02:00 am on Friday and Saturday, with a wide program focused on the connection with beer and entrepreneurship crafter, in close harmony with the venue of the event, Jardim da Alameda – an icon of the capital and of the Farenses.

Ruada bands and djs will set the musical tone across all ages.

These are the ingredients of an event that will mark the Algarve's agenda, as well as the definition of artisanal beer: «of high quality, pure and cheerful, with its own personality and character and an enormous motivation to undertake».
