The projects for the deactivation work of the Rogil WWTP and for the connection of sewage in the town of Carrascalinho, in the municipality of Aljezur are already being drawn up.
The first technical meeting between Águas do Algarve, the City Council of Aljezur and the company Aqualogos – Engenharia e Ambiente, Lda, which will develop the execution projects, took place on the 3rd of June.
According to the Chamber of Aljezur, the deadline for carrying out the projects is 90 days.
The municipality explains that «this provision of services, for the execution of the projects, follows several meetings and a commitment made between the Municipality and Águas do Algarve, for the solution of these two situations, which are fundamental for the populations of Rogil and Carrascalinho, thus allowing an improvement in their quality of life and substantially improving their environmental issues.
