Castro Verde's fire is dominated

Fire had two active fronts

The fire that broke out at 12:15 pm this Monday, June 17, in Vale Charneco, municipality of Castro Verde, is already under control.

The fire, which took place in a forest area and had two active fronts, was even fought with the help of three aerial means.

According to the Civil Protection website, 80 workers remain in the theater of operations, supported by 29 vehicles for the aftermath.

In Baixo Alentejo, it continues active another fire, in Almodôvar, which already mobilizes five aerial means that will operate until nightfall.

There are also 136 operational and 41 firefighting vehicles.
