Public education and teaching establishments in the Algarve's priority intervention territories will have more time to try to guarantee a contribution from European Union Funds for their projects, under the Priority Intervention Educational Territories (TEIP) programme.

The deadline for applications to this funding line of the CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program was extended until 12 July. Proposals must be submitted at the 2020 Desk.

The program "aims to promote interventions that favor equal opportunities in access to education and improve the educational success of students". In this competition, proposals in the field of Inclusion and Employment will be accepted.

The TEIP has an endowment of 3,5 million euros, the vast majority of which comes from the European Social Fund, as can be seen in the notice of the competition, which can be consulted by following this link.

The thematic objective of this program "is the promotion of social inclusion and the fight against poverty and discrimination", with the investment priority being "active inclusion, with a view to promoting equality and active participation and improving employability". according to the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, manager of the regional OP.
