The 4th Stage of the Surfski-SW Alentejo National Canoeing Championship will take place on Saturday, June 22, with arrival in Vila Nova de Milfontes, in the municipality of Odemira. 154 athletes from 20 clubs will participate in the competition that will start at Ilha do Pessegueiro, in the municipality of Sines, and finish at Franquia beach.
The race is scheduled to start at 14:00 and the arrival must take place from 17:00. In competition will be several age groups, male and female. At the end there will be a convivial party for all athletes and an awards ceremony, at Praia da Franquia, in Vila Nova de Milfontes.
The organization of the event is the responsibility of the Portuguese Canoeing Federation, Municipality of Odemira, Municipality of Sines, Fluvial Club Odemirense, Clube Náutico de Milfontes and Clube Náutico do Litoral Alentejano, with the support of Vila Nova de Milfontes Parish Council and Junta of Porto Covo Parish.
