Even ministers and secretaries of State visited the Algarve Mobile Health Unit

There were five rulers

Ministers and secretaries of State visited, this Thursday, 27 June, the Mobile Health Unit that the Algarve took to the “Exhibit PT2020 – We do Portugal” which took place at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon.

Nelson de Souza, Minister of Planning, Capoulas Santos, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Forests, and Ana Paulo Vitorino, Minister of the Sea, were just some of the members of the Government who made a point of visiting this Unit.

Maria do Céu Albuquerque, Secretary of State for Regional Development, and José Apolinário, Secretary of State for Fisheries, completed the list of visits by government officials.

The Mobile Health + Proximity Unit is a project that guarantees the provision of health care to populations residing in disadvantaged, rural and low-density territories.

The initiative brings together and is operated by the Municipalities of Albufeira, Alcoutim, Aljezur, Castro Marim, Loulé, Monchique, Portimão, São Brás de Alportel, Silves and Tavira, in partnership with the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve.
