Firefighter from Aljezurense Hélio Oliveira, who in May was distinguished with the national award “Firefighter of Merit 2018”, received a vote of praise from the City Council of Aljezur on Tuesday.
The honoree, who is a 2nd firefighter, was accompanied by the Permanent Intervention team of which he is a part, consisting of the 2nd fireman Henrique Henriques, the deputy chief Bruno Silva, the 2nd firefighter Marco António and the 3rd firefighter Daniel Silva, was Commander Mário Costa was also present. All of them received the Book of Prestige from the Chamber of Aljezur.
The Chamber of Aljezur decided to attribute the vote of praise to Hélio Oliveira for the national award he received, a "deserved distinction for the acts and actions" of the person being honored.
