Algarve REVIT+ takes business show to Centro Cultural de Lagos

The Lagos Cultural Center will receive, on the 18th and 19th of June, an action to train and promote the three Business Areas of Lagos (Municipal do Chinicato, Chinicato and Marateca), within the scope of of the Algarve REVIT+ project.

The initiative includes the holding of a Business Exhibition of the products and services of companies located in the Business Areas, which will be open to the general public, a Forum for Competitiveness, which will have thematic workshops to train companies for innovation, and Acceleration Laboratories of Projects, through "B2B" meetings, between consultants and companies, for project acceleration. The Forum and Laboratories are specifically aimed at the business public.

The action is organized with the collaboration of the Municipality of Lagos and follows on from initiatives already carried out such as “Café com Negócios”, a meeting that brought together, in an informal environment, the promoters of the Algarve REVIT+ project and the entrepreneurs of SMEs located in business areas of Lagos.

This work began when NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community and CCDR Algarve, together, decided to apply and saw a SIAC Project (Support System for Actions) approved by CRESC Algarve 2020 Collectives), called Algarve REVIT+ which, at no cost to companies, has as its central objective the revitalization of business areas in the Algarve region, through the strengthening of capacity and the promotion of small and medium-sized companies installed in these areas, in a management model and innovative marketing.

The revitalization of the business areas, framed in a collective logic, through the creation of the Algarve Business Areas Network «has been developed in close connection with the Algarve Acolhe/CCDR Algarve and involves training and promotion actions, specifically aimed at the Business Areas of Lagos , the Vilamoura Business and Services Center and the Tavira Business Park.

The first action is scheduled for June 5th and 6th, at Ribeira de Tavira Market, the second will take place on June 12th and 13th, at NERA, at Loteamento Industrial de Loulé, and the third will take place on the 18th and 19th June at the Centro Cultural de Lagos.
