Sea flavors reign at the table in Tavira

Flavors from the coast will set the menu at 52 participating restaurants

Tuna, croaker, octopus, razor clam and oysters are just some of the delicacies that will be served at the Sea Gastronomy Festival, taking place from the 8th to the 30th of June, in the municipality of Tavira

The flavors of the coast will set the tone for the menus of the 52 establishments in Cabanas (9), Santa Luzia (7) and Tavira (36) that have joined yet another edition of the Sea Gastronomy Festival.

Tuna, croaker, cod, mackerel, anchovy, octopus, cuttlefish, shrimp, razor clams, clams, oysters, along with other delicacies, wines and regional sweets, invite you to celebrate the Mediterranean lifestyle.

The appreciation of traditional cuisine, characteristic of the classification of the Mediterranean Diet as Unesco's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in line with the wisdom and mastery of the chefs and cooks define this Festival.

The freshness and appreciation of seasonal products, as well as the interaction between family and friends are constant, year after year.

As in previous years, participants in this event are able to win numerous prizes.
