A “small fire” in a bathroom broke out this morning in the Emergency Department of Hospital de Portimão. The flames were extinguished as soon as firefighters arrived on the scene, and it was not necessary to evacuate patients.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação, that the alert was given at 10:44. "The firefighters found, on arrival, a small source of fire, which was immediately extinguished".
Sixteen operational and six firefighters from Portimão, Lagoa and PSP were mobilized for this occurrence.
