Portimão Municipal Assembly votes on decentralization of competences

The Municipal Assembly of Portimão will meet again on June 12, at 21 pm, in the Main Hall of Paços do Concelho to vote on three deliberations of the City Council, two of which are related to the decentralization of competences.

The first issue on the Agenda for the 7th AM extraordinary meeting of Portimão, which will be preceded by the usual interventions by citizens, will be the discussion and voting of the proposed organic regulation of the Municipality of Portimão.

This is followed by the debate and voting on the proposal regarding the transfer of powers to local authorities provided for in Decree-Law No. 20/2019.

This diploma implements the framework for transferring competences to municipal bodies in the areas of animal health and protection and food safety.

The third point on the Agenda is the discussion and voting on the proposal to charge fees provided for in the regulation of services provided by the bodies and services of the National Maritime Authority, within the scope of the decentralization of powers on the beaches.
