The Municipality of Aljezur has, since last Friday, May 17, which marked World Internet Day, a new institutional website and a mobile application.
According to the Municipality of Aljezur, the new portal “provides new tools for those looking for more information”.
The launch of the new website aims to «facilitate and enhance the entity's communication with its residents, but also affirm the council with its visitors».
«Centered on a constant concern to provide internet users with a better browsing experience, we believe that the new website is more dynamic, intuitive and contemporary, presenting new content, greater interactivity», emphasizes the municipality.
Through the homepage of the new website, «it is also possible to access the highlighted informative contents, namely news and institutional events, as well as an area of online services that allows the submission of applications without the need to travel to the premises of the City Council».
The mobile application “Visit Aljezur” “has essentially touristic contents”. The two tools are "fundamental" for contacting "our target audiences, both allowing the subscription of notifications about the activity of the Municipality", adds the City Council of Aljezur.
This renovation was financed under the “Algarve Mais Digital” application of CRESC Algarve 2020 – Algarve Regional Operational Programme.
