The population of Albufeira will be able to vote on the project they want to see carried out under the Participatory Budget from tomorrow until the end of June. In all, nine projects, distributed across the four parishes of the county, passed to the final phase.
The proposals that will be voted on from tomorrow were selected in the public participation sessions of the Participatory Budget of Albufeira for the year 2020, which took place in March.
In the OP for 2020, the Municipality of Albufeira provided 250 thousand euros, a sum that, for the first time, will be distributed equally among the four parishes of the municipality – that is, 62,5 euros each. The projects are all about valuing the public space.
The final decision on the projects to support is up to the population, who can vote by telephone, calling the number assigned to each project, or in person at the Paços do Concelho building, Parish Councils, Municipal Library, Municipal Swimming Pools, Gallery of Art Painter Samora Barros and Albufeira Sports Pavilion.
