In the afternoon, the streets of this small village will come to life. The party program includes musical entertainment and street entertainment, namely folklore and a traditional popular dance.

There will also be “activities for children and adults, such as donkey rides or the bread and cheese workshop. On sale will be handicrafts from the municipality of Castro Marim, such as basketry, lace and empreita, local products, such as honey and dried fruits, and traditional sweets», according to the Chamber of Castro Marim.

This is just one of the aspects of this fair. Visitors are also challenged to set out on the path and “explore the nooks, crannies and charms of Furnazinhas”, on a pedestrian walk.

The municipality suggests four different routes, with different degrees of difficulty, with 3, 5, 8 and 11 kilometers.

“The cobbled streets, the schist houses, the old copper mines and the stunning views over the Odeleite dam, are some of the scenarios for this walking tour”, according to the municipality.
