Book that tells "stories engraved in the rocks" released in Loulé

The book “Stories Recorded in the Rocks. Field Guide: Discovering Rocks and Fossils in Loulé”, written by Hélder Pereira and Francisco Lopes, will be presented on Tuesday, April 23, at 17:30 pm, at the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Concelho de Loulé, in Loulé. week in which the Earth, the Geological Heritage and the Book are celebrated all over the world.

This is an invitation to “walk through the city and discover rocks and fossils, millions of years old, that have extraordinary stories to tell”.

The authors challenge the reader: “accompany us on this adventure of getting to know the territory with a different perspective, we will have a lot of news for you to share!”.

The work, which is an edition of the Municipality of Loulé/Municipal Museum, will be presented by Carlos Marques da Silva, professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. Admission is free.
