More than two dozen young people from Alcoutim participated in the first edition of the Municipal Youth Forum, which took place on the 18th and 19th of April, in Martim Longo and at the county seat, respectively.
This was, according to the Alcoutim Chamber, an "open space for youth dialogue and participation", in which young alcoutenejos "expressed their ideas, their projects, which made themselves heard, being aware that all ideas shared will be shared. object of analysis and reflection for the future of the municipality».
In this first edition of the Youth Forum, chaired by councilor Luís Conceição, topics such as education/training, employment, culture and tourism, sport and leisure, health and risk behaviors, associations and other topics were addressed, «in a space for discussion where young people from the municipality had the opportunity to contribute with their ideas and opinions to the improvement of living conditions in Alcoutim».
The next two sessions of the Municipal Youth Forum will take place in December.
