“Lagos and the Rural World” is the subject of a seminar

It is part of the III Jornadas de Lagos, organized by the Municipal Assembly of Lagos

The seminar “Lagos and the Rural World” takes place on Saturday, 30th, between 15 pm and 18 pm, in the Auditorium of the Passos do Concelho 00st century building, as part of the III Jornadas de Lagos, organized by the Municipal Assembly of Lagos.

This seminar, open to public participation with space for debate, will feature the participation of various entities linked to the sector, distributed in two panels:

The first panel will be attended by Joel Guerreiro and Andreia Fortunato, from ASCAL – Association of Cattle Breeders of the Algarve, Hélder Nunes, from the Association of Irrigants and Beneficiaries of the Algarve, Jaime Ferreira, from AGROBIO – Portuguese Association of Organic Agriculture, and Carlos Gracias, from the Algarve Wine Commission.

The second panel will include José Brito, from the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, Pedro Valadas Monteiro, Algarve Regional Director for Agriculture and Fisheries, Carlos Guerrero, from the University of Algarve, as well as Pedro Ribeiro, from IFAP – Instituto de Agriculture and Fisheries Financing.

Panel moderators will be municipal deputy Fernando Bernardo and the 1st secretary of the Municipal Assembly of Lagos, Sónia Melo.
