Marlene Guerreiro, Vice-President of the City Council, invited the visitor to a unique experience, which takes the visitor into History, taste secular flavors, relive the troubled times of the First Republic, so recently implemented, and feel the emotion of the moments of elevation from São Brás de Alportel to county.

The Historical Recreation is a biennial initiative, carried out by the municipality, which in this 3rd edition has the support of the program 365Algarve and with a huge involvement of the community, in the preparation of a vast animation program, with live demonstrations of the arts and customs of yore, tasting spaces and countless reasons to travel back in time.

Integrated in the Algarve Space, the municipality of São Brás de Alportel was represented at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange from 13 to 17 March, making known the potential of the territory with open doors to new national and foreign visitors: with new experiences, spaces to discover, events not to be missed, sweets not to be resisted and gastronomy to taste.

The flavors of the rich local gastronomy, the National Route 2 Route, the cycle of Nature Walks, adventure sports, the Roman Sidewalk, the Costume Museum and the Florida Torch Festival are some of the many proposals highlighted.
