Câmara de Tavira is collecting goods to send to Mozambique

Goods must be delivered to the Tavira Fire Department

The Câmara de Tavira will join the humanitarian aid campaign “SOS Moçambique – Let's all help”, promoted by the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP), and promote a collection of essential goods for the victims of Cyclone Idai.

The municipality calls on the population to contribute by donating "canned foods with a long shelf life, products for water treatment, personal hygiene and building cleaning products and medicines (painkillers, antibiotics and antimalarials)".

These goods must be delivered to the municipal fire department in Tavira, by April 12, between 09:00 am and 21:00 pm.

Whoever prefers, can make a monetary contribution to the Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa, which opened a solidarity account and has an ongoing campaign.
