Vasco Faísca replaces Ivo Soares in charge of Olhanense

New coach is natural to Faro and played in Sporting's youth teams

Vasco Faísca is the new coach of Olhanense, replacing Ivo Soares in charge of the Algarve. The new coach has already guided the training this Wednesday, February 6th, determined the Sul Informação with a SAD source.

The dismissal of Ivo Soares, who was doing a good championship, was due to "decisions by SAD", said the same source who did not want to go into details.

The truth is that Olhanense currently occupies the 5th place in the D Series of the Portuguese Championship, five points from the 2nd place that gives access to the play-off to climb to the II Liga.

Natural of Faro, Vasco Faísca played for clubs such as Viscenza and Ascoli, in Italy, and Académica and Beleneneses, in Portugal.

As coach, he was assistant to Vilafranquense, before taking over the new adventure to the command of Olhanense.
