Secretary of State for Local Authorities participates in the seminar on Parish Reform

In the afternoon, there will be a round table with local elected representatives, on the benefits and constraints of proximity governance in new parishes in the region.

The Secretary of State for Local Authorities, Carlos Miguel, participates in the opening session of the seminar on the reform of the parish map implemented in 2013, which will take place at the CCDR Algarve Auditorium, in Faro, this Monday, February 4th, from 10 am.

Organized by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, the University of Lisbon and the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Algarve), the seminar aims to to make known the results of the surveys carried out by the project team, namely on the repercussions on the exercise of their powers by local elected representatives and on the daily lives of the population, with an underlying perspective of territorial cohesion.
