Citriculture specialists gather at the “Orange XXI Conference”

Regional Director of Agriculture and Fisheries participates in the opening session

Citriculture specialists will meet at the “Laranja XXI Conference”, which is scheduled for February 15th, Friday, at 14 pm, at Fissul's Colloquium Room and which is part of the III Silves Capital da Laranja exhibition.

The conference, which will count, in the opening session, with the presence of Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves and Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of Agriculture and Fisheries, will be moderated by João Garcia, technician of the municipality of Silves.

This event “will allow for debates on issues related to agricultural planning and financing, as well as more scientific issues”, explains the Chamber of Silves.

The inauguration of the III Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja is scheduled for the 15th, at 10:30 am. The exhibition will feature several dozen exhibitors linked to citrus, wine, agriculture, regional products, sweets, handicraft and gastronomy, as well as some associations and local and regional entities.
