The “Hebei China Fortune” team says goodbye this Saturday, February 2nd, from Lagoa where they spent the last 26 days in training.

“Hebei China Fortune” was, last season, in 6th place in the Chinese Super League. It is the team where Javier Mascherano (ex-Barcelona) and Ezequiel Lavezzi (ex-Naples and PSG) line up.
According to the municipality, «the excellent natural conditions of the territory, the quality of sports facilities in the municipality of Lagoa, associated with the municipality's strong investment in promoting active tourism, contribute to the significant increase in demand in this Algarve municipality for internships and of other sporting events. They come from various parts of the country and abroad, including the biggest clubs in Europe and the world».
“Considering tourism as the main economic activity in the municipality and in the region, the active and sporting tourism sector emerges as an important contribution to counteract the pernicious phenomenon of seasonality”, he adds.
In 2018, the Municipality of Lagoa hosted around a hundred events in this area, responsible for more than 27.500 overnight stays, and which may have contributed an increase of more than 1,8 million euros to the local economy.
