Bird watching tour in Barrocal and Serra do Caldeirão supports RIAS

Tour will be guided by João Ministro

A bird watching tour in Barrocal and Serra do Caldeirão, next Saturday, January 26, will raise funds for RIAS – Center for the Recovery and Research of Wild Animals.

The tour, promoted by Cooperativa QRER, starts at 9:00 am, at Largo da Igreja Matriz in Querença.

According to the cooperative, "this is a very easy route, made up of short walks, interspersed with car journeys to various locations."

The Bonelli's Eagle, the Common Kestrel, the Bluebird, the Cia, the Felosa-do-mato, the Blue Magpie, the Royal Shrike and the Crested Tit are some of the species that could be observed in this tour.

The promoter of this initiative will be João Ministro, from Proactivetur, “which promotes in this way one of its activities in the In2south catalogue”, explains Cooperativa QRER.

The tour is aimed at the general public and participation costs 5 euros, which reverts to RIAS.
