Pinheiro and Rosa students debate global warming with Congressman Luís Graça

Debate takes place within the scope of the applications of students from the Faro school to the Youth Parliament

The deputy to the Assembly of the Republic Luís Graça, elected on the PS lists by the Algarve circle, will introduce the students of the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School, from Faro, the proposals that will be voted by the Parliament to fight global warming, in a session that will take place on Monday morning, January 21st, at the Superior School of Management, Hotel and Tourism of the University of Algarve, in the Algarve capital.

The debate will feature elements from the six lists of the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School competing for the Youth Parliament, whose theme in 2019 is «Climate Change – Reversing Global Warming». Farense students will take the opportunity to present their own proposals to reverse global warming.

«This project contributes, in an essential way, to the construction of an active citizenship on the part of each of these young people and to a greater awareness of this problem that already affects the entire population», according to the Pinheiro e Rosa School.
