The ACD Ferragudo Women's Under 16 team revalidated this Sunday, the title of Champion of the Algarve, by winning the Immortal Basket of Albufeira 71-52, in the final round of the Final Four, played in the pavilion of Escola EB 2,3 do Parchal (Lagoa).
In this Final Four, organized by the Ferragudo team, by delegation from the Algarve Basketball Association, and which had the support of the Municipality of Lagoa, ACD Ferragudo won all the matches played (125-11 against Ginásio Olhanense and 102-31 at the game with SC Farense).
Winning this title will allow the team to now participate in the National Championship of the category, representing the Algarve.
ACD Ferragudo also saw four of its Under 16 athletes (Beatriz Santos, Rafaela Castanheira, Maria Pedro and Rafaela Fernandes) selected for the ideal 5 of the Final Four, with Beatriz Santos being considered as the best athlete (MVP) of the competition.
His support group “Piratas do Arade” also won the prize for the best supporter.
