Tiago Vilhena becomes national junior champion of 100 meters styles

Swimmer Tiago Vilhena, from the Swimming Club Faro, became National Junior Champion of the 100m styles, with a time of 58.35, in the National Junior and Senior Championships of short pool, which took place from December 21st to December 23rd, in Felgueiras.

The Farense swimmer also got the bronze medal in the 200m styles, with a time of 2:06.64.

Both results are regional records for Junior 18 years, stresses the Algarve Swimming Association (Analgarve).

Also the swimmer from the Faro, Isabel Figueira won the bronze medal in the 50m breaststroke, with a time of 32.84.

At the National Championships, 7 Analgarve clubs were present, with a total of 19 swimmers.
