New Cowork Space in Faro organizes innovative trainings

Space designed by the sisters Sara and Rita Sampaio, it will receive training actions and already receives coworkers

The “Atelier – Cowork & Training”, which recently opened in downtown Faro, the schedule is already filled for the beginning of 2019.

This space dedicated to sharing knowledge, designed by two sisters, Sara and Rita Sampaio, will host, in January, unprecedented training in the Algarve: on the 11th, Martim Mariano will bring his Storytelling and Content Marketing Course for Social Networks, intensive training, which has been exhausted in Lisbon and Porto.

Martim is a journalist with experience in professional management of social media, gained from his work at SIC, SIC Notícias and Expresso.

On January 26th, Vânia Vargues will be directing the Design Thinking Workshop, a concept that is still new to some, but with which Vânia is familiar, in her work in project management in a software company.

Design Thinking is a methodology used in problem solving, both in startups, as in larger companies, to innovate in products and services.

These initiatives come from the hand of Rita Sampaio, also known for organizing the SHARE Algarve conference. “With the conference we promote this concept of sharing knowledge in marketing and creativity. We have brought several speakers to talk about the themes, but the public started to ask for more: that they come back, that they also give their courses here, and not only in the big cities. This has been my challenge: to create conditions to make the displacement of these people, who normally come from Lisbon or the north of the country, viable. With the opening of the Atelier, we have a large training room, full of natural light and with modern equipment”.

Last Friday, Rita hosted a workshop on Entrepreneurial Culture at the Atelier, a free event, by invitation, for entrepreneurs and team leaders, given by Rui Pedro Alves, from the Rupeal Group.

Experiences were shared and issues related to leadership, recruitment and building a culture of happiness, excellence and business growth were discussed. It was a hit among the participants.

In addition to the training room, the Atelier has a space for coworking (a shared office) that works for the temporary or permanent rental of workstations, with several amenities: air conditioning, ergonomic chairs, coffee, refrigerator, among others. It couldn't be better located, next to Jardim d'Alagoa and close to Largo de S. Francisco, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and main services.

Since it opened in October, it has already brought together a group of “coworkers”, including independent professionals, entrepreneurs, startups, remote workers and digital nomads. The digital world and the creative industries all have in common: web designers, programmers, videographers, photographers, designers and marketers.

From Faro, work for the whole world, a sign that times are changing.
