Louletano becomes national club champion in the 2nd Women's Swimming Division

Algarvian men's training was runner-up nationally

The women's team of Louletano Sports Clubs was crowned national champion of clubs in the 2nd Swimming Division, in the national championships that took place over the weekend, in the Municipal Swimming Pools of Santo António dos Cavaleiros.

The Algarve team reached a total of 411 points, leaving, in second and third place, the teams of Famalicão, with 326 points, and Bairros dos Anjos/Leiria, with 321 points, respectively.

In men's, Louletano's team was runner-up nationally, with a total of 375 points. The championships were won by the SFUAP team, with a total of 409 points, while the FOCA team was third, with 340 points.

Loulé swimmer Sofia Diaz was in 5th place in the table of the best performances in the championships, with a total of 707 points, achieved in the 400m styles competition, with a time of 4:50.54.

In men's, swimmer Eusébio Romero had the second best performance in the championships, with 739 points, achieved in the 1.500m event, with a time of 15:37.62.
