Docapesca advances with dredging in the port of Santa Luzia

The dredging that intends to restore access to the floating piers at the Santa Luzia fishing port, in Tavira, has already started and should be completed within 60 days, announced Docapesca.

The project, which is budgeted at 150 thousand euros, aims to “drag sandy sediments, at an elevation of -1,50 meters (ZH), in an estimated total volume of 20.600 m3, to restore safety, navigability and safety conditions. parking of vessels in that port'.

The sand removed from this location will be used “for artificial feeding of the beach at Terra Estreita and reinforcement of the adjacent dune cord”.
