On this Friday, businesspeople from the eyes of Olhao attended a lecture on digital marketing, given by Fernando Antunes, «one of the world's leading experts in the field of marketing, who is in Portugal to participate in the Web Summit, which runs until the 8th in Lisbon », according to the Chamber of Olhão.
The session was attended by around 80 entrepreneurs linked to hotels, restaurants, design, advertising, press, real estate, industry and commerce, as well as local associations and multimedia students.
Fernando Antunes, university professor and founder of Brasília Marketing School, addressed topics such as the positioning of the Algarve and companies in the region in the various social networks and the digital marketing tools available to entrepreneurs.
«It is an honor and an unmissable opportunity for our municipality to be able to count in Olhão with the presence of a specialist such as Fernando Antunes, who shared his know-how, marketing tools and strategies with our entrepreneurs, in an increasingly digital world », considered António Pina, mayor of Olhão.
The municipality of Olho assures that this was "a first experience", which "opened the way for another similar initiative, but with a larger dimension, which will take place as early as next year".
