The show by the singer of Íris «promises to make the audience sing in unison themes known from several generations».

Domingos Caetano, the vocalist of the band Íris, will take the stage of the Municipal Auditorium in Olhão to sing classics of Portuguese music, on November 24th, at 21 pm.

This is, according to Câmara de Olhão, "a show that promises to make the public sing in unison themes known from several generations."

The musician, born in Fuzeta, became famous as the main mentor of the band Íris, one of the most successful formations in the Algarve, which he founded in 1979.

The musical group from Olhão became known nationwide with some of its hit songs, including “Vão Dar Banhó Cão”, “There is always a tomorrow”, “Oh Mãe” or “Isolados do Mundo”.

Despite continuing as the vocalist of the band ÍRIS, he has embraced many other projects, one of them being the one he now presents at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão, “Domingos Caetano Canta Classics da Música Portuguesa”.
