Walks, workshops, arts and conversations mark Barão de S. João Walk&Art Fest

Hiking Festival continues this weekend

A tour of the poets, a walk to Pedra do Galo, another along the Via Algarviana, from Lagos Train Station to Bensafrim, another from Cotifo to Bravura Dam, a journey to discover the cultural heritage of Bensafrim or the Mata de Barão de S. João, a photographic tour of this village, a workshop to learn bamboo pens, lectures and artistic interventions. These are some of the activities that the Walk&Art Fest of Barão de S. João still has to offer, this Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday, the 3rd and 4th of November.

The Walking Festival, which also includes exhibitions of artists and local products, has already sold out many of its activities, but, with luck, you'll still find something interesting to do. Even more, because the weather is inviting to walk in Nature and participate in activities related to the arts and well-being.

But, because the festival also extends into the night, this Saturday there will be a concert again, which starts at 21 pm, with musician Tiago Saga as a guest.

But beware: applications for the remaining vacancies can no longer be made online. Now, they can only be done in person, at the Cultural Center of Barão de S. João, where the secretariat works. You can also contact the secretariat by phone (925481986).

The Walk&Art Fest of Barão de S. João is part of the program of the Algarve Walking Season, which also includes the Alcoutim and Sanlúcar de Guadiana Hiking Festival (March 8th to 10th) and the Walking Festival Plum (April 26th to 28th).
