Five of the World Luxury Hotel Awards came to the Algarve. The hotel Faro & Beach Club brought home two awards at European level, similarly to the Epic Sana Algarve and Pine Cliffs. Dunas Douradas Beach Club won an award for the Southern Europe region.
The Faro hotel, located in the Algarve capital's downtown, next to the dock, was distinguished with the Luxury Harbor Hotel and Luxury Rooftop View Hotel awards.
Pine Cliffs, from Albufeira, won in the Luxury Ocean View Resort category. Epic Sana Algarve, in the same municipality, received the distinction of best Luxury Coastal Resort. Dunas Douradas, in Almancil, in the municipality of Loulé, received the Luxury Coastal Resort award.
The awards for the 12th edition of the World Luxury Hotel Awards, which distinguish luxury hotels that stand out around the world, based on the votes of more than 360 international travelers, took place on November 10, at Ayana Resort & Spa, in Bali, Indonesia.
