10 million investment creates high-performance internship center in Quinta do Lago

“The Campus”, the new high-performance training center at Quinta do Lago (Loulé), opens this Wednesday, October 30, at 17:00. 

The center is the result of an investment of 10 million euros and is part of «the rejuvenation strategy of the luxury development in the Algarve, which began in 2009,» says the resort Quinta do Lago.

With a total area of ​​48 hectares, the Quinta do Lago internship center is a space focused on education and rehabilitation, «which represents a very important complement for the resort's regular guests and for teams and professionals looking for training equipment. elite and superior quality, with the best professionals».

It is a space for those who enjoy sport, regardless of age, gender, nationality or level of training, «since it allows sports in a complex that has the excellence and fundamental characteristics sought by professional athletes».

At “The Campus”, athletes and athletes can practice from tennis and padel, through yoga, ballet or barre fitness, fitness programs such as zumba, to high intensity training: HIIT training, pump in the fitness studio, indoor cycle, cardio machines and light weights in the functional gym. There will also be a high-performance gym.

Water sports are also available in the two outdoor heated pools: one for adults and one for children, as well as the holistic therapy treatment rooms, medical treatment rooms, sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, Hot and Cold bath for recovery and bike shed (bike rental for tours inside and outside the resort).

With the football field already completed, Quinta do Lago has been sought after by football teams from the UK, France, China, Croatia, Denmark and also by Portuguese teams.
