The Albufeira Municipality Rally takes place on the 13th and 14th of October, part of the South Championship.
The competition starts on Saturday, October 13th, with a nighttime Super Special, at 21 pm, between the intersection of Firefighters in Albufeira and Rotunda dos Relógios, in an extension of 00 kilometers, in the middle of Avenida dos Descobrimentos.
On the 14th, Sunday, three more specials will be played on asphalt, this year with a novelty: the entry of the parish of Guia to the competition.
The Special Classification Trials (PEC) will take place between the Algoz road and the Tunes road (Guia), in Canals (Ferreiras) and Alcaria (Paderne) and will be covered three times each.
In Guia, the rally will run at 10:00 am, 11:44 am and 13:43 pm, while in Ferreiras it will be at 10:18 am, 12:02 pm, and 14:01 pm.
Finally, in Paderne, the rally starts at 10:39, 12:23 and 14:22. The awards ceremony will take place on the podium in front of the City Hall at 16 pm.
The performance of the tests will restrict traffic on Saturday, on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, between Rotunda dos Relógios and Rotunda do Lidl, from 19:00 to 23:00.
The car park in front of the Court will be closed to the public over the weekend to assist participating cars. On Sunday, Rua do Município, between Albufeira Shopping and City Hall, will be closed to traffic between 9:30 am and 10:30 am, and between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.
This is the fifth race counting for the South Rally Championship, which integrates the calendar of the Portuguese Federation of Automobile and Karting.
