A man who robbed a gas station in Alcantarilha, in the municipality of Silves, armed with a bladed weapon, was detained by the GNR.
Following an investigation into the theft of 500 euros and tobacco packets, the GNR in Silves ended up catching the alleged perpetrator of the crime on the public road, in Algoz. In addition to detaining the man, he seized a melee weapon used in the robbery and 20 euros.
The man has already been presented to court and was subject to daily appearances at a police station in his area of residence.
