Colloquium at the University of Algarve debates marginalized narratives

Arnaldo Saraiva will give the inaugural lecture of the colloquium promoted by CIAC

The 5th edition of the Colloquium Narrativa, Media e Cognição is scheduled for the 9th and 10th of November, at the Penha Campus Pedagogical Complex. The inaugural session is scheduled for 10:00 am, in amphitheater 1.4.

This meeting, organized by CIAC – Center for Research in Arts and Communication, in co-organization with the Working Group “Audiovisual Narratives” of AIM –Association of Moving Image Researchers – and SPVJ –Portuguese Society of Video Game Sciences, will give « special attention to marginalized narratives, which are located in a field of work that CIAC has been exploring and whose critical debate must be fostered: marginalized cultures».

The event's program includes an inaugural lecture by Arnaldo Saraiva, scientific and literary researcher, essayist, chronicler and poet, and nine panels dedicated to the themes of the call for papers: Marginalized Narratives, Fake News, Literary Narratives and Narratives Media.
