The Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) will award the 15 travel agents who stood out for the highest number of accommodation bookings, taking them for a three-day tour of the Eastern Algarve.
The “Incentivo Algarve” initiative is thus back, rewarding both Portuguese and Spanish travel agencies.
In this fifth edition, the «adventure» will be «of three days with a special program in the Eastern Algarve».
“Could be bike rides, cooking workshops or outdoor walks, who knows? The surprise effect is to keep until the end. Between the 26th and 29th of September, participants will be led to discover the best that the destination they sell has to offer to all visitors», says the RTA.
The program aims to «show experiences that enrich the Algarve's tourism offer, valuing not only the performance and commercial success of these agents, but also helping to provide real contact with the destination».
Since the initiative began in 2015, 60 agents have been invited “to learn more about the region that continues to be the most popular holiday destination in the country”.
