August was the best month ever on this air link

The occupancy rate of the air connection between Bragança and Portimão, with stopovers in Vila Real, Viseu and Cascais, grew 49,6% in the first eight months of 2018, compared to the same period last year.

This year, 12006 passengers have already been transported, 4436 more than in 2017.

According to Sevenair, a concessionary company, «comparing the occupancy rates in the same periods, the variations are positive in practically every month. August 2018 was the best month ever. The occupancy rate reached 108,58%, against 92,25% recorded in the same month of 2017».

For the first time on this regional line, 2100 passengers were passed in a month.

According to the company, "the growth in the number of passengers has been verified since its launch, in December 2015. In March 2018, it started to have two daily connections".

According to Alexandre Alves, CCO of Sevenair, «these positive numbers and growth reflect our commitment to providing a quality, reliable and regular service to our passengers. The number of people who frequently use the line to travel from the far north to the south of the country has consistently increased over the duration of the current concession, whether they are families or business people. We have made passengers loyal and are conquering new audiences, namely, tourists. This line is increasingly part of the daily routine of thousands of Portuguese».
