Southern Classical Orchestra takes Rossini, Dvorak and Mozart to Fuzeta

Southern Classical Orchestra promises a pleasant evening of «huge cultural wealth»

The Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS) will take works by great composers such as Rossini, Dvorak and Mozart to the Fuzeta riverside area, on Wednesday, August 15th, at 22 pm, in a concert «inspired by the hottest season of the year.

Directed by the baton of Maestro José Eduardo Gomes, OCS associate conductor, the musicians will interpret Rossini's opera, “Italiana in Algeri”, “Slava Dance n.º 1” by Antonín Dvorák and “Symphony n. G Minor” by Wolfgang A. Mozart.

This will be followed by the “Dance of the Comedians” by B. Smetana, the “Hungarian Dance no. 5” by J. Brahms and, at the end, the work by J. Offenbach, “Can Can”.

«On a journey through different nationalities and compositional styles», the Orquestra Clássica do Sul promises «a pleasant evening of enormous cultural richness, crossing the work of renowned composers in the history of classical music».
