The area of Medicine at the University of Algarve (UAlg) is among the best choices for those looking to study in this scientific area in Europe, according to U-Multirank, a European Union platform that outlines the profile of universities at the level world, comparing them and ordering them by rankings of performance.
The innovative ways of teaching, the quality of research, the strong mobility of students and the opportunities for contact with the future work environment, which is offered to students in courses in this scientific area, are among the main reasons presented by U-Multirank.
According to Isabel Palmeirim, president of the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Medicine at UAlg, these results reflect “the work that has been done towards Excellence, Innovation and Humanism in teaching”.
