A 5-year-old boy of British nationality died on the afternoon of this Saturday, 28 July, drowned in a swimming pool in a tourist resort, in Alcantarilha, in the municipality of Silves, advances the Correio da Manhã.
According to that newspaper, the child «was playing with his twin brothers» and «was found by his parents already unconscious» in the swimming pool of the Amendoeira Golf Resort.
According to the same newspaper, rehabilitation maneuvers were carried out by «emergency technicians from the INEM ambulance in Alcantarilha», but it was no longer possible to save the child.
